Save Money on Mobile Roaming For International Calls

For those who use their mobile data plans for international calls on a daily basis, it can be a real problem to go abroad and be unable to access email, apps and Web without paying huge mobile roaming charges. In general, these charges are so expensive that most people choose to switch off their phone's Internet connection in order to avoid them. For example, visitors to the US from the UK will end up paying $.019 per kilobyte of data, which means they are paying $19.46 per megabyte on the Sprint network. However, some networks are trying to lower costs.
Vodafone, for instance, has launched a new data roaming package that is noticeable cheaper than its previous offering, with a 25MB daily allowance that has been raised from 5MB. The company also notifies consumers when they are close to hitting their roaming allowance.
